Getting started with your video slideshow

Think about your show as if it were divided into chapters. Three chapters will make a show that is about 10 – 12 minutes long. For each chapter of your show, you need about 30 – 40 photos. Organize your photos in a manner that makes sense. That could be chronological or by activity or theme.

Take your organization a step further and make a folder on your computer for each chapter in your show. Rename the photos in the order that you want them to appear. For example, chpt1-01, chpt1-02, etc. You can always change it later but I think you will find that the time you spend organizing will make your show creation process go a little quicker.
